  1. Mash/Grains: Grain Lbs: 5.50 Water Qts: 7.43
  2. Mash/Grains: Before Additional Infusions Water Gal: 1.86 - Before Additional Infusions Qts Water Per Lbs Grain: 1.35
  3. Mash/Grains: Before Additional Infusions Saccharification Rest Temp : 147F, Time: 90 minutes
  4. Mash/Grains: Mash-out Rest Temp : 175F, Time: 10 minutes
  5. Mash/Grains: Sparge Temp : 175 Time: 10 Total Mash Volume Gal: 2.30 - Dough-In Infusion Only
  6. Boil: Bring your wort to a boil and set your timer for 90 minutes.
  7. Boil: At 60 minutes, add 0.6 oz. of cascade hops.
  8. Boil: Terminate boil and add 1.0 oz. of cascade (Iowa) hops.
  9. Fermentation: Primary fermentation for 7 days at 68F.
  10. Fermentation: Secondary fermentation for 14 days at 68F (use amylase enzyme). Dry hop 1.0 oz. cascade (Iowa) hops.

Recipe Notes

The enzyme goes in the 2ndary - DON'T FORGET THIS!!!! The enzyme makes it dry, so its clean and crisp, plus it boosts the alcohol. I needed a blow-off on my secondary. It bubbled like crazy for a week.
