Ingredients
Malt
  1. .20 lbs. American Chocolate Malt
  2. .20 lbs. Weyermann Carafa IIIĀ®
  3. 7.25 lbs. German 2-row Pils
  4. .5 lbs. Weyermann CaraFoamĀ®
  5. 3.5 lbs. German Dark Munich
Hops
  1. 1.5 oz. Hallertau (Pellets, 4.50 %AA) boiled 60 minutes.
  2. .5 oz. Hallertau (Pellets, 4.50 %AA) boiled 15 minutes.
  3. .25 oz. Tettnanger (Pellets, 4.50 %AA) boiled 5 minutes.
Yeast
  1. Wyeast 2565 kolsh

Steps
  1. Mash/Grains: Mash in at 165F for 60 minutes.
  2. Mash/Grains: Batch sparge with 170F water.
  3. Boil: Bring wort to a boil and start your time at 60 minutes. Add 1.5 oz. of Hallertau hops.
  4. Boil: With 15 minutes left in the boil, add another 0.5 oz. of Hallertau hops.
  5. Boil: At 5 minutes left in the boil, add 0.25 oz. of Tettnanger hops.
  6. Preparation: Cool wort and pitch your Kolsch yeast.
  7. Fermentation: Primary fermentation should last for 7 days @ 70F.
  8. Fermentation: Secondary fermentation for another 14 days @ 70F.
